The Porsche Panamera is a tourism and five-door four-seater. This is the first time Porsche has a vehicle with a body of this kind. The Panamera is the vehicle the broadest and lowest in its class, but brilliant ideas such as the lack of separate funds for the rear seats - the cushions are attached directly to the floor - have helped to get a release competitive in the head and legs. This is strictly a four-seat car, with a shift to accommodate longer items like skis. Even the rear seats are individually adjustable in all sorts of ways and can be heated or air conditioning - air conditioning of the passenger is sucked through the seats rather than forced on the sensitive skin of the occupants.

It measures 4.97 m long, 1.93 m wide and 1.42 m high. Is longer than any other Porsche. Some models of similar characteristics (saloon with coupe silhouette) are the Mercedes-Benz CLS, Maserati Quattroporte and the Fisker Karma. The Porsche and Fisker are distinguished because their body is wider. For height, the Panamera is an intermediate place between the CLS (1.39 cm) and Maserati (1.43 cm). The Karma is the lowest of the four (1.33 cm). 

At the launch there will be three versions available: "S", "4S" and "Turbo". The "4S" and "Turbo" have traction, while the "S" is for rear. All versions have a V8 engine of 4.8 liters of displacement and direct fuel injection (DFI). The sound of the exhaust can be changed by pressing a button on the center console. The version "S" has very good performance: to achieve a maximum speed of 283 km / h, accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.4 s, and consumes 10.8 l/100 km in combined cycle. It is an underspending to the CLS, the Quattroporte and S6.

The variant 'Turbo' has the same motor, but supercharged by two turbochargers. Gives a maximum power of 500 hp. Their benefits are excellent: reaching a maximum speed of 303 km / h and accelerates from stationary to 100 km / h in 4.2 s. Consumption (12.2 l/100 km) is very good because there is no tourism between 480 and 520 hp spent fuel.

There are two types of gear boxes, a manual and automatic. The latter is the dual-clutch (PDK), which already have the 911, the Cayman and Boxster. Version 'S' may be purchased with both changes, whereas the rest ( "4S" and "Turbo") only be available with the "PDK". The Panamera with "PDK" take a stop device and automatic engine, which stops the engine when the car is stopped at a traffic light or traffic jam, for example.

You can carry a suspension that lowers the height of the body depending on the speed, which reduces aerodynamic drag, and an active stabilization system (PDCC), which reduces the swing of the body. Among the items of equipment that may include front airbags, curtain, side and knee, an active developer of speed ( "ACC"), the four climate zones and ceramic disc brakes (as in the rest of the Porsche, because they bring out the claws painted in yellow). Also available a stereo with 16 speakers, sensors, tire pressure monitors for rear-seat access system, and without keys. The daytime running light is composed of a series of LEDs located on the bumper. The Panamera Turbo has a rear spoiler that rises automatically based on speed.Has four different positions.
