Buick presented in the Shanghai Lounge 2011 the Envision Concept. A very interesting prototype that advances the lines of the future models of the mark, and the basis for a possible new model. The Envision Concept is a joint development between Shanghai GM and Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC).

It impresses the grid, the design of optics, the lateral waistline, asymmetric central console, flat-bottomed steering wheel, the head-up display system, 3D and incorporation of the new generation of intelligent Bluetooth DUN.

The chassis Envision combines carbon fiber, magnesium and aluminum and is mounted on an electromagnetic suspension MRC.

The engine is a hybrid (GM PHEV Hybrid Plug-In), and consists of the following:

• A 2.0 liter turbo and direct injection
• Two other Electrical,
• Can operate in 100% electric.
• The battery is Lithium Ion high performance
• Solar roof is also ordered to recharge the batteries
• The gearbox eight-speed.
