In 2012 test-runs in five European cities have been announced. An ambitious goal, because so far is not certain who is to build the Town Car - the developers want is to provide the basic framework ready and win so that companies from the automotive industry for a production. Also key data about performance, technique or an approximate date within budget were not called by the Consortium.

Conceptual core of the Town Car is its variable body. The purely electrically powered mobile folds up when not in use - the cab folds up pushed together, which are rear and front axle. The required parking space is 1.5 meters long, then still far below that of a Smart - ideal conditions for the notoriously congested city centers.
