Mercedes Benz introduced at the Customer Care Center of Plant Brand, at Worth, Germany,to the Unimog Cabriolet Concept. An impressive prototype surprised by all sides, and which was developed in order to celebrate the 60 years of life of the Unimog truck. The first was made on June 3, 1951.

Responsible for this prototype was the same team that develops the Unimog Street, the Econic and the Zetros. This uses the chassis of the current Unimog U 5000 as a base.

Yaris Pursun, Director of the plant of Mercedes Benz in Worthersee and Mercedes Benz trucks special, said: "Special Mercedes Benz trucks was decided to build a new concept of design. This vehicle will act as a bridge to the future design of the next generations of products of the brand".

The brand has no plans to build a production model of what we see in the image.Unimog Cabriolet Concept is only a Design Studio, which will serve to deal with other projects in the future
