To celebrate the Formula 1 car most successful of all time, the memorable Lotus Type 72 black and gold, an innovative machine that was piloted by legends like Jochen Rindt, Emerson Fittipaldi, Ronnie Peterson and Jacky Ickx.

The UK-based company unveiled in their honor, the special edition Exige S Type 72. Limited to 20 units for the United Kingdom, 20 for Europe and an undetermined number for Japan and other countries in the world.

Highlights of the model are outside its body painted in black and with an edging along the entire car in gold. And also a plaque with the name of each of the 20 major awards won by the Lotus 72 throughout its history in Formula 1. Hence this series limited to 20 units.
