Hyundai Sonata is the second vehicle in the Hyundai version 24 / 7 2.0 product initiative following the steps of the new Tucson. The 2011 Sonata is a modern approach to segment the traditional mid-size sedan using advanced only four-cylinder engines, emotional design and luxury features offering strong value proposition with Hyundai.

The Sonata 2011 first model powered by the new motor GDI Theta II 2.4-liter direct fuel injection. The engine has an output of 198 hp (200 hp in the SE version) and 184 lb.-ft. torque. This mated to a six-speed automatic Shiftronic. In addition, a second engine will be added next year a 2.0-liter Theta II turbocharged GDI. Also there will be a 2.4-liter Hybrid Blue Drive available.

The exterior of the all-new Hyundai Sonata is long, light and low. The high beltline allows a roof long, elegant accented by the third window. A side profile monomorphous includes flowing lines highlighted by a signature chrome Hyundai Accent covering the length of the car. Typically, this type of setting is only around windows. In the new Hyundai Sonata, this setting extends from the headlights, is projected along the hood and waistline. A sleek roofline compromises normal volume headroom and interior, but at 120.2 meters cubic, the Hyundai Sonata has the most interior volume of its main competitors.

Drivers can access the SHIFTRONIC feature by moving the gear selector into a separate gate. Pushing the selector forward or pulling it rearward will shift the transmission up or down sequentially, enhancing driver control. The SE will also have the steering wheel-mounted paddle shift. A clear LCD readout on the instrument panel shows the gear that is used.

Hyundai Sonata SE is a partner even more exciting and ready for drivers and riders prefer more sporty driving dynamics. The sport suspension with stiffer springs and larger stabilizer bars, resulting in an increase of 20 percent in stiffness.
