Renovation:

Integrated Spotter Mirror: Technology against blind spot. The side mirrors have a convex secondary mirror placed in the corner that allows the driver to see what is in the blind spot, increasing the peripheral light and therefore safety.

MyKey: Lets set the limit vehicle speed and audio volume. Also promotes the use of seatbelts, warns when fuel levels are very low and can be programmed alarms sound when reaching 45, 55 and 65 miles per hour.

Reverse Camera System: The camera is positioned at the rear of the vehicle and sends the image to a video projector located in the rearview mirror or the navigation system screen. This improves the visibility of what is behind the vehicle when driving in reverse.

Active Park Assist: The Escape is the first SUV in the United States that has this system using ultrasonic sensors and the Electric Power Assisted Steering which calculates the optimum angle to rotate the wheel and position the vehicle so that parking is a very simple.

SYNC: Includes new feature that is the real-time information. It integrates GPS technology, Bluetooth connectivity and offers easy access to personalized traffic reports and current information on business, sports, weather and general information.

The 2010 Escape also includes as standard features, AdvanceTrac stability control, air bags front and sides for all passengers and system for monitoring tire pressure.
