The Escape 2010 Ford is the small SUV with the best rating in crash tests than any other vehicle in its segment and has enhanced this technology by adding five functions. The new Escape, which will be in the distribution in summer, will include the role mykey, mirrors for blind spots and can be included as an option the rear view camera and the SYNC system. New technologies to be named as 'Top Safety Pick' by the IISH and the best new family vehicle by KBB 2009, as well as get five stars in crash tests.

The technological transformation of the Escape shows Ford's efforts to quickly and efficiently introduce new features. Ford's mission to include features such as SYNC or mykey is to become leaders in technology and make these systems accessible to millions of people, as it has done with safety and fuel-efficient technologies. 

Renovation:

Integrated Spotter Mirror: Technology against blind spot. The side mirrors have a convex secondary mirror placed in the corner that allows the driver to see what is in the blind spot, increasing the peripheral light and therefore safety.

MyKey: Lets set the limit vehicle speed and audio volume. Also promotes the use of seatbelts, warns when fuel levels are very low and can be programmed alarms sound when reaching 45, 55 and 65 miles per hour.

Reverse Camera System: The camera is positioned at the rear of the vehicle and sends the image to a video projector located in the rearview mirror or the navigation system screen. This improves the visibility of what is behind the vehicle when driving in reverse.
