Superfast 2010 Ferrari P540 Aperta
The first tremor was held down in a very special Fiorano-off, the Ferrari Superfast P540 Aperta, built for an American customer. The car, the second in a special program for new projects created by Ferrari to meet the requests of the most demanding customers and collectors to create truly unique patterns, is based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and was inspired by a Ferrari designed built Carrozzeria Fantuzzi 1968 specifically for the film of Fellini, Toby Dammit, inspired by one of the stories of Edgar Allan Poe.

 

 


The new owner of Ferrari Superfast proud P540 Aperta, Walson Edward, son of John Walson, the inventor of the cable television, went to Ferrari in 2008 to produce a modern reinterpretation of the gold-colored car in the movie. "I had always dreamed of designing sports cars," Walson said, "and when I saw this movie the decision was made of its own accord: one day he would have" my "Ferrari".

This special color Aperta Superfast Ferrari P540 was inspired by the movie "Toby Dammit", one of the three episodes of the movie "Histoires Extraordinaires" made in 1968 based on the stories of Edgar Allan Poe. "Toby Dammit", the third of three episodes, directed by Federico Fellini, with Terence Stamp and Salvo Randone Milena Vukotic, based on the story "The Devil Never bet your head." The other two episodes, "Metzengerstein" and "William Wilson", were directed by Roger Vadim and Louis Malle.
