The new Alfa Romeo Giulietta will be presented to the world at the Geneva Car Show 2010. Sales of the new model will begin in spring and gradually extended to all major markets. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is expected to give new impetus to the brand in one of the most important segments of Europe. In the Centennial year, the name is a tribute to the myth of the automobile and Alfa Romeo. The Giulietta is a car that, in the fifties, caught the imagination of generations of car enthusiasts, making the dream of owning an Alfa Romeo and enjoy the high level of comfort and technical excellence accessible for the first time.

Alpha DNA, a device to customize the behavior of the car according to different driving styles and road conditions, you can adapt the new Alfa Romeo to the needs of each individual driver to increase driving pleasure and comfort. The new architecture of Alfa Romeo Giulietta was designed to integrate and improve all onboard systems. Three settings (Dynamic, Normal and All Weather) are available and can be selected using the DNA of Alpha. This device - standard across the range of the new model - modifies the engine operating parameters, the system of government, and electronic differential Q2, and fine tuning the stability control system (VDC) logic of behavior.

The front is developed around shaping a "triloba" and has a brand new interpretation of traditional Alfa grille, front bumper put on and suspended between the two air intakes. The entire car runs from here to combine a strong personality with a stylish way. The headlights applied LED technology, daytime (DRL) the maximum active safety function. 

The profile of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is rich in personality and gives the appearance of an agile model, solid. This is primarily the result of the side windows as a coupe, which highlight the dynamic and agile, and the hidden rear drive. The added lateral nerves of the car to look slim, while the tense closing lines in the rear accentuating the wedge shape of the body.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta ensures premium performance and next generation technology in terms of technical solutions, performance and environmental friendliness. Four turbo engines will be available at launch, all Euro 5 compliant and equipped with a standard "system" Start & Stop "to reduce consumption and emissions: two petrol engines (1.4TB - 1.4TB Multiair 120 HP and - 170 hp) and two diesel engines (1.6 JTDM - 105 hp and 2.0 JTDM - 170 HP, both belonging to the second generation JTDM engine). Finally, the range is completed by the 1750 animated TBI - 235 HP with a proprietary configuration Quadrifoglio Verde. 

Lastly, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is equipped with sophisticated electronic devices for dynamic control of series: VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control), DST (Dynamic Steering Torque), electronic differential switch Q2 and Alfa DNA. All these systems ensure driving safety, dynamism and performance in the best tradition of Alfa Romeo.
