Acura, the luxury company Honda, present the first images and details of the new MDX, an SUV that changes in some aspects, where the same is aligned to the new trend that is driving the brand (chrome grille on V each getting bigger).This features a new V6 engine, the VTEC 3.7 liters with 300 hp, six-speed automatic transmission and a torque of 366 Nm. The new MDX 2010 also have improved shocks and suspension.

In terms of equipment that includes leather upholstery, sunroof electric, tri-zone climate control with humidity control, and Bluetooth hands-free MP3/WMA audio system with 6 disc charger, XM satellite radio and eight speakers (253 W). Inside, Acura has given the SUV a light refresh that includes new heated and (optionally) ventilated "Milano" leather seats, a thick sport steering wheel, paddle shifters, new gauges, revised button placement in the center stack and overall upgraded materials. Acura's Real Time Weather and Traffic Rerouting features are newly available with the optional navigation system.

Acura says the engine but now features more heavy-duty components to aid in longevity. The changes have also helped increase fuel economy to 16 mpg city and 21 mpg highway, a 1 mpg improvement in both categories compared to the outgoing 2009. A new six-speed sequential shift automatic is standard. It offers standard and sport modes and can be shifted manually via the paddle shifters.

As an option the system incorporating blind spots warning, adaptive cruise control, active suspension with shock absorbers and a GPS with 60GB hard drive. But it also has cams on the steering wheel, a central mirror with integrated display for the backup camera, and instrumentation with LEDs. Its price is of $ 34,500. .
